  • Available in 2oz and 4oz glass bottles

Body oil for dry skin, from hands to heels

Hunny, your elbows and ankles deserve attention too. Massage a small amount into clean, slightly damp skin, focusing on dry hands, cuticles, elbows, knees, legs and heels.

The plant oils act as emollients, helping skin feel softer and smoother. An oil layer can also help slow moisture loss. For extra dry skin, use it over your body butter as the finishing step in your routine.

Care for hands that work hard

Your hands do a lot for you. Repeated washing can leave them feeling dry, tight and rough. Make room for a simple moisture routine after washing and at the end of your day.

For nurses and healthcare workers

Between handwashing and long shifts, your hands rarely get a break. Moisturize after washing, then add a small amount of oil when your workplace guidance allows. An evening routine is another way to give dry hands and cuticles some attention.

Follow your workplace rules for skin products, hand hygiene and glove compatibility.

For plumbers

Frequent washing and wet work can take their toll. After cleaning your hands, gently pat them dry, apply moisturizer and finish with a small amount of oil to soften rough-feeling skin.

Use suitable protective gloves for the job. Skin care does not replace protection from water or chemicals.

For electricians

When washing up after a day's work leaves your hands feeling tight, give them a little care before you clock out for the evening. Massage a small amount over moisturizer, including around dry cuticles.

Allow it to absorb before handling tools. Follow your equipment and glove guidance.

For construction workers

Dusty days and repeated washing can leave hands feeling rough. Clean your hands thoroughly, moisturize, then use the oil as a finishing step once your work is done.

Wear the right protection for cement, solvents and other irritants. Body oil is not a protective barrier against workplace exposures.

Dry palms or hand eczema? Know what your skin needs

Dry skin and hand eczema can look similar, but they need different care. For ordinary dryness, an emollient oil can soften the skin and help seal in moisture. That explains the oil's role in a dry-skin routine; it does not establish that this formula treats eczema.

Holistic Body Oil contains fragrance from an essential oil blend. Essential oils can irritate sensitive or eczema-prone skin. Dermatologists recommend fragrance-free creams or ointments for eczema, so this scented formula is not our recommended choice for an active flare.

If you have diagnosed hand eczema, ask your healthcare professional before adding it to your routine. Avoid broken, bleeding or weeping skin. Persistent itching, blisters or painful cracks deserve medical attention.

Bikini line dryness and ingrown hair questions

The skin around your bikini line deserves thoughtful care too. Moisturizing can address dryness, while ingrown hairs call for attention to hair removal habits and, sometimes, targeted treatment.

Holistic Body Oil has not been established as an ingrown hair treatment. We do not claim that it prevents ingrowns, clears follicles or treats inflamed bumps.

Because this formula contains an essential oil blend, we do not recommend it as intimate care or as an immediate after-shave or after-wax product. Keep it away from the vulva, inner labia, vaginal opening, broken skin and irritated bumps. Choose care formulated for the bikini line, and seek advice for persistent or painful ingrown hairs.

What's inside your calendula body oil?

Real organic calendula flowers are part of the infusion. The formula combines sunflower, safflower, black cumin, hemp, castor and sacha inchi oils, alongside aloe extract, Brassica Campestris Seed Oil and vitamin E.

These plant oils bring the emollient feel that makes an oil useful for softening dry skin. The calendula infusion is part of our botanical approach to formulation. Ingredient properties alone do not prove medical benefits for the finished product.

No synthetic fragrance. The formula contains an essential oil blend, so it is not fragrance-free.

Why pair body butter with body oil?

Oil and body butter have different roles in your routine. Our aloe-based Holistic Body Butter provides hydration and moisture. Holistic Body Oil follows as the finishing layer to help seal that moisture in.

  1. Hydrate: Apply Holistic Body Butter to clean skin after showering or washing your hands.
  2. Seal: Massage a small amount of Holistic Body Oil over the butter. Start with a little and add more as needed.

Prefer to use the oil on its own? Apply it to slightly damp skin after a shower. Allow it to absorb before dressing, putting on gloves or handling tools.

Holistic Body Oil FAQs

Should I apply body oil before or after body butter?

Apply body butter first, then body oil. The butter provides hydration and moisture; the oil helps seal it in.

Can I use it on my hands and cuticles?

Yes, on intact skin. Massage a small amount into dry hands and around your cuticles. At work, follow hand hygiene, product and glove guidance. Let it absorb before handling equipment.

Does body oil replace moisturizer?

For extra dry skin, we recommend layering it over body butter. Oil helps soften skin and retain moisture, but it does not supply water the way a water-based moisturizer does.

Is Holistic Body Oil fragrance-free?

No. It has no synthetic fragrance, but it contains fragrance from an essential oil blend.

Can I use it if I have eczema?

This scented oil is not an eczema treatment and is not recommended for an active flare. Fragrance-free creams or ointments are generally preferred for eczema. Ask your healthcare professional about your own skin needs.

Does it get rid of bikini line ingrown hairs?

We have not established that this formula prevents or treats ingrown hairs. Because it contains essential oils, we do not recommend it as intimate care or an immediate after-shave or after-wax product.

Which size should I choose?

The 2oz bottle is a compact option for your routine or travel. Choose 4oz if you prefer a larger bottle for regular body care.

Test a new product on a small area before wider use. Stop using it if irritation occurs. For external use only.
